Cold Chain Monitoring
Our proposed solution offers the capability to access data from freezer trailer thermographs. This functionality empowers fleet managers to oversee the conditions inside refrigerated trailers as they travel, enabling them to provide timely instructions to drivers if any adjustments are necessary. Consequently, this ensures that perishable goods remain stored under optimal conditions during transportation.
Operationally, a freezer thermograph measures the temperature within the trailer while simultaneously storing environmental data for subsequent analysis. Supported thermographs feature an RS232 communication line that can be linked to our devices. Once connected, our device commences monitoring and logging the data captured by the thermograph.
The seamless connectivity and configuration process between the two devices render them an ideal solution for transportation companies operating within the cold chain supply industry. Additionally, our proposed hardware supports three distinct types of thermographs – the Carrier DataCold 600, Thermo King Transcom 2, and Thermo King Touch Print. This proactive approach ensures that goods remain consistently stored in the appropriate environment throughout the journey.
